Down-to-earth parenting advice you can trust. Their website allows you to find answers to parenting questions in their advice articles. Or you can talk, 1:1 to a parenting coach about anything that’s worrying you. It’s all free, and no topic is too big, small, or embarrassing!

1:1 Parenting Talk Chat Service.

Action for Children offers a Parent Talk chat service that is available
to talk to parents and carers:
• 12.30pm – 7.30pm Monday
• 10.30am – 4.30pm Tuesday
• 9.30am – 4.30pm Wednesday
• 12.30pm – 7.30pm Thursday
• 9.30am – 4.pm Friday
Outside of these times, you can leave them a message – and one of their parenting coaches will endeavor to reply within three working days.

If you need to talk to us in another language
• The 1:1 chat is available in Welsh, with Elinor our Welsh-speaking Parenting Coach. / Mae’r sgwrs 1:1 ar gael yn Gymraeg, gyda Elinor ein Hyfforddwr Magu Plant sy’n siarad Cymraeg.
• If you speak another language, we can talk to you on the phone using the Language Line translation service. Please start a chat or leave a message with your phone number and the language you want to speak. We will call you within 3 working days.
